Frequently asked questions
How many interpreters does a meeting require?
It depends on the mode, duration, languages and format. For simultaneous interpreting, long meetings usually require two interpreters per language combination so that they can alternate.
Does ANAVI also provide technical equipment?
We can advise on and coordinate booths, receivers, microphones, audiovisual equipment and qualified technicians according to the venue and number of attendees.
Can remote or hybrid interpreting be arranged?
Yes. We assess whether the interpreters should work at the venue, from a specialist hub or remotely, taking sound quality and security into account.
What information is needed to assess a meeting?
Dates, schedule, venue or platform, languages, number of attendees, event format and, where available, the programme and reference materials.
