Remote and hybrid interpreting
ANAVI provides remote interpreting for arbitration proceedings, witness statements, board meetings, videoconferences, webinars and online seminars in multiple languages.
At a hybrid event, interpreters may be on site while some speakers or participants join by streaming. In other cases there is no physical venue and everyone connects remotely.
Interpreters may also work from a hub: facilities designed for remote interpreting with controlled sound and connectivity conditions.
Whispered interpreting or chuchotage
When only one or two people require interpreting, the interpreter can whisper the translation without interrupting the speaker. Those participants’ contributions are then rendered consecutively for the rest of the room.
This is an intermediate solution between simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and normally requires no equipment, although it can be combined with a portable system.
Portable equipment
A portable system requiring no fixed installation may be used for small groups, press conferences or practical courses, allowing the interpreters to move with the participants.
